PLEASE COME TO COMMON SENSE 96.  Here are the some organizational
points:

1) The symposium will be taking place in the History building, room
305, at Stanford University on January 6-8, 1996.  For directions to
to Stanford and a map of Stanford see

2) The symposium will be free.  We will provide a room and copies of
the proceedings, but not much more.  No food or drinks will be
provided.  There is a little coffee/snack shop in the History building
and a number of university-style food places within 10 minutes walking
distance.  However, I find it easiest/cheapest/best to bring my own
lunch, snack, drinks, etc.

3) A list of lodgings in the Palo Alto area can be found at

4) For any administrative questions, or if you would like hard copies
