Date: Tue, 12 Dec 1995 01:00:37 -0800 (PST) From: Sasa Buvac To: distribution:@Steam.Stanford.EDU; (see end of body) Subject: Common Sense 96: INVITATION Reply-To: buvac@cs.stanford.edu PLEASE COME TO COMMON SENSE 96. Here are the some organizational points: 1) The symposium will be taking place in the History building, room 305, at Stanford University on January 6-8, 1996. For directions to to Stanford and a map of Stanford see http://www.stanford.edu/home/visitors.html 2) The symposium will be free. We will provide a room and copies of the proceedings, but not much more. No food or drinks will be provided. There is a little coffee/snack shop in the History building and a number of university-style food places within 10 minutes walking distance. However, I find it easiest/cheapest/best to bring my own lunch, snack, drinks, etc. 3) A list of lodgings in the Palo Alto area can be found at http://www.persimmon.com/palo/chamber/lodging/home.html 4) For any administrative questions, or if you would like hard copies of the above information mailed to you, please contact our secretary Terry Rodriguez, tlr@cs.stanford.edu, (415) 723-6321. 5) A schedule of talks will be placed on the symposium home page http://www-formal.Stanford.EDU/tjc/96FCS/ later this week. 6) A reminder: final papers are due on December 27th. As Tom will be away, please make sure you email them to me. (Please only plain postscript!) And I too will be out of town after December 28th, so please don't be late. See you all soon. v SASA %%% overflow headers %%% To: Mary-Anne.Williams@frey.newcastle.edu.au, leora@watson.ibm.com, silco@ida.liu.se, gba5@fub.it, aiello@assi.dis.uniroma1.it, pirri@assi.dis.uniroma1.it, provetti@cirfid.unibo.it, rsm@doc.ic.ac.uk, tgk@cs.toronto.edu, thomason@isp.pitt.edu, enrico@frege.mrg.dist.unige.it, mes@cs.toronto.edu, huang@dcs.qmw.ac.uk, jorge@guernica.eecs.uic.edu, mps@dcs.qmw.ac.uk, cx@irst.itc.it, yan@germain.une.edu.au, reiter@cs.toronto.edu, chris.menzel@tamu.edu, gmendez@guernica.eecs.uic.edu, chitta@cs.utep.edu, hudson@cs.utexas.edu, perlis@cs.UMD.EDU, fl@cs.toronto.edu, kartha@src.honeywell.com, vl@cs.utexas.edu, jb@dcs.qmw.ac.uk, alfredo@cs.utep.edu, serafini@irst.itc.edu, kaname@nttkb.ntt.jp, matsu@nttkb.ntt.jp, liem@cs.uwm.edu, kuipers@cs.utexas.edu, jmc@cs.stanford.edu, costello@cs.stanford.edu, mosh@cse.iitb.ernet.in, michael@brc.uconn.edu, rlc@cs.utexas.edu, iliano@di.unito.it, iliano@cs.uh.edu, costello@SAIL.Stanford.EDU, drapkin@enws92.eas.asu.edu, ether@research.att.com, ferguson@cs.rochester.edu, ruben@cs.utexas.edu, mgelfond@cs.utep.edu, fausto@irst.it, rpg@cs.tulane.edu, grosof@watson.ibm.com, hayes@cs.stanford.edu, jjones@nmsu.edu, kartha@cs.utexas.edu, sarit@bimacs.cs.biu.ac.il, lang@cs.tulane.edu, lehmann@mustang.ibp.fr, lehmann@cs.huji.ac.il, vl@cs.utexas.edu, fl@cs.toronto.edu, liu@austin.edu.com, logan@cacs.usl.edu, maida@cacs.usl.edu, mccain@cs.utexas.edu, jmc@SAIL.Stanford.EDU, robert@cse.uconn.edu, misra@cs.utexas.edu, leora@watson.ibm.com, musto@ai.sri.com, srin@cs.utexas.edu, madhura@cs.UMD.EDU, javier@cs.utoronto.edu, epontell@nmsu.edu, provetti@cs.unibo.it, halina@ucrengr.ucr.edu, manny@cam.sri.com, reich@austin.lockheed.com, reiter@ai.toronto.edu, kbs@cs.utexas.edu, ejs@ida.liu.se, mps@doc.ic.ac.uk, simmons@cs.utexas.edu, sakthi@cs.utexas.edu, btraylor@cs.utep.edu, trudel@AcadiaU.ca, hudson@cs.utexas.edu, rwatson@cs.utexas.edu, tomfox@cs.utexas.edu, buvac@cs.stanford.edu %%% end overflow headers %%%
