The hyperguide part is accessed as above. The other parts (bibliography, information about conferences, etc) has been structured for a proposed "European Colloquium on Spatial and Temporal Reasoning", and the present structure can be accessed as http://www.ida.liu.se/brs/ * Lars has implemented the virtual addressing scheme and tested it as far as possible here, and if you access the hyperguide as described above you are running through it. (In order to run it without the script, you invoke instead http://www.ida.liu.se/ext/hg-lac/ ) This means that crosslinks within the hyperguide can be written as we discussed during the meeting, for example as /logics/modal/ and that they then go through the virtual linkage script. It would be nice if some of you could try it soon, so that we get additional experience with it. In order to only establish *incoming* links from the overall hyperguide to some sections that you write, you just need to send a message to Lars (larka@ida.liu.se) and tell him which hyperguide address (for example /logics/modal/) you want to have mapped to your machine, and where to map it to. In order to also have *outgoing* links from your pages to pages at other hyperguide sites, you must of course install Lars's script on your server also. More news: * The hg-lac structure has further been reorganized so that there is first an overview page, and then a substructure for "table of contents". This is in line with what was said at our meeting about fully exploiting the possibility of "hyper" structures. The overview page contains a number of (intended) "entries", that is, starting points for marked trails through the material that is only listed for overview in the table of contents. * There is various materials in the structure of "table of contents", but notice that it is all very preliminary. However, * The table of symbols has been updated in line with what we decided at the meeting * The section "latex" contains a number of macros files. In particular there is a file for formula-supporting macros. These files have been written so that they are correct html files (with .html extension), for viewing purposes, but they can also be loaded into Latex. (Have played tricks with the comment facility of Latex). Documentation will be added, but they are fairly self-explanatory. * The present message has been included in the first substructure of "authoring information". I plan to do similarly with forthcoming messages whenever appropriate. Thus you don't have to save this message, as long as you make a note of the hyperguide's URL. All comments welcome, including if something doesn't work. Best regards Erik PS I suggest we keep this structure and information "within the family" for the time being - it is useful to be able to put draft texts on the web without them being read by people outside the group who do not know the context. However I have not put any access protection on these structures - do we need that? Erik
